Buying Children's Books at Supermarkets

Hi,

In the past few
years supermarkets have started delving into the world of children's
books. With independent bookshop numbers shrinking and Waterstone's decreasing choice across their entire store to promote
best-sellers and sure things, it would seem that the supermarkets would
be a welcome outlet for parents to buy books. They are somewhere we go
every week, they are conveniently located, and they are discounted beyond
belief.

How do people feel about buying children's books in supermarkets? Are
we seduced by the prices and convenience of it all? Or do we still wish
there were more bookshops around with committed children's sections
where we could take our children to discover reading as a pleasant and
exciting past-time?

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
