RCM Input colourspace vs Input LUT

I'm working on a thing with a bunch of different sources: ARRI, FS7 etc. I thought I might try out RCM for this but have run up against an issue. When I use RCM, it really accentuates the grain, and overall makes the image a bit ugly. Offline footage is unusable in this mode as you see the compression like crazy. In addition, on the input colourspaces, I have less choices for the specific S-Log curve.If I bypass the input colourspace on the offending clips and use an input LUT (The Arri Log C to 709, and Sony S Log to 709), everything looks beautiful. Even the the offline DNxHD36 stuff looks good.Am I doing something incorrectly or is using input colourspaces a bumpy ride?
