Welcome to Sims Saturday, a Sims soap opera by writer and longtime RivalCast community member VelvetDove.

I so wish I would of found my new hidden talent so much sooner than I did. I was hanging out at Aleistar's Elixirs, mostly just throwing things into the pot and seeing how big of an explosion I could make. Then the police came and I was sure it was going to be the shop keeper was mad that I was blowing things up. I was going to say, excuse me, do you not know who I am? My family owns this place. You cannot kick me out of here! I had it all prepared. But no, it wasn't anything like that. It was because it was so late at night. Whatever! I got taken home for a stupid curfew violation.
Escorted home again

My mother came out of the house, and I had no idea how she was going to react at all. She just shooed me into the house all weird like and talked to the police for a second. I wasn't really sure what she was going to say, I mean my aunt is a police officer. I don't know how that all works. Mom came into the house and came over to me all concerned and I was so expecting to have her yell at me or something. She was just so concerned that the police insulted me or made me feel ashamed of being a wizard. Like anything they said would ever offend me. I got a 10 minute talk about not letting fools make me afraid to be who I truly am, blah blah blah. Apparently I knew who I was long before Mom truly knew who she was. I know what I am, I know what I can do. And now after her reaction, I wanted to test if I had any more power over things.

I decided to sneak out of the house and pelt the neighbor's house with eggs. It was early in the morning and everyone was sleeping. It was funny because it was so cold out the egg guts froze to their windows. They were going to have a really fun time trying to get that off their house! Some of the eggs were a little frozen themselves and made a loud thud on the side of their house. I wish my aim was better and I could of hit the windows with the frozen ones. But, dogs woke up, and their barking woke up the people, and the people called the police. And yet again, they brought me back home. I just stood there looking innocent, while mom was in shock. Naturally I said, I was just really bored because of my being grounded, all because of that curfew thing. Mom HAD to ground me, I think all because of my aunt. That's it. I don't think if she wasn't around Mom wouldn't of done anything. I am bored! There is nothing fun to do in that house. They're they're all running around working, or they're sitting on their butts watching television. That's mostly my brother and sister. They are lumps. They do nothing. They keep telling me I don't have to do anything either. "Don't you realize our family owns this town?" Which makes sense. I mean besides the fact that we do really own a lot of property in the town, with our aunt being on the police force, we could do anything and no one would say a single word. I've seen our bank records, I know how much money we have. I know what I could do and pay someone to let me off on all the charges. It will be amazing!

But, to show Mom how I was sorry for egging the house. I was NOT sorry. Their dog bothers me and barks every time you walk down the block. I was NOT sorry. I made a show of "practicing" my spell craft. She had shown me this spell, when I first was caught trying to set a book on fire, how to turn an apple into other things. I was bored and I could launch sparks out of my fingers, of course I'm going to see if it would light something on fire. Thankfully it was one of her alchemy books, so she thought I was reading up on stuff at the same time trying to "cast spells". I wasn't. But whatever she thinks she knows, that makes my life a lot better. So, my wonderfully helpful mother gave me an old magic wand. Supposedly from her father, who was a wizard. Hooray for wizard blood. Then she taught me how to cast this conversion spells or something, that way I can practice my skills harmlessly. All I know is, if I practice it in the kitchen, Mom gets this look of pride on her face that you would not believe and I get out of any trouble I could possibly ever have. Besides, every once and a while the apples turn into things I can use to get money. I've gotten rare gems and bugs. It's amazing the power I have. I truly can change the world, a heck of a lot better than either of my siblings ever could. All I have to do is wave my little wand and Mom will forgive me from everything.
Rare gems from an apple

Proof! The other day after school, I set the school's dumpster on fire. Yes the police came and took me back home. Of course Mom was concerned, I slightly lit myself on fire standing too close to the flames.
just a little singed

Not a big deal, I know how to cast an ice spell to stop it all. Anyways, Mom's concern ended after the police left and I told her I was just "practicing a fire blast spell". She got that look in her eyes, like I had said the most sweetest thing she had ever heard in her life. She wanted to make sure I knew exactly how to cast it and how to hold the wand and how to do it all safely. I can do NO wrong I tell you! I could of lit the school on fire and burnt it to the ground and Mom would of looked at me with that look in her eyes like I never meant to hurt a fly. Just as long as I say I was practicing some skills that supposedly was handed down to me from my grandfather I had never met. Because of course Aunt Jennifer always made fun of mom for being different, so she's wanting to make sure I know exactly how special I am. I just don't think mom truly knows that I know EXACTLY how special I am.

So, in attempts to appease Mom again, because yet again I was put on even more grounding. How that's possible, I don't know. But now my brother and sister think they can police me. Whatever! I do what I want. So, I went to play on Mom's alchemy station, just to see what I could do. I like to make things explode! I was looking in her book and saw some of the things that you can supposedly make! Mom always just made like learning potions or healing potions. There is so much more potential.
So much potential

I see a great potential here to make money also. I told Mom right away I wanted to register as an alchemist, so that way I can have access to more things and build more things and sells more things. There is so much more potential here. Again, she was the proudest I've ever seen her in my life. I swear I have that woman wrapped around my finger. Now, if I get into trouble, I can say, hey I wasn't breaking into that person's house, I was strictly trying to get this rare plant I saw in their yard. Mom, I need this plant for my super duper happiness potion I was trying to make for YOU. What? It can also be used for the expert level zombification spell? Well that's weird. I will TRY and stay away from that one, Mom, don't you worry. Can you run to the store and buy it for me, please? Remember, I'm still grounded!

She will run and get me whatever I want, because she is so proud of me, it's oozing out of every bit of her essence. I have BIG plans! That's all I can say, BIG plans.
